for using URLZone

By accessing, registering for, or using URLZone in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Soft24 Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”). Use of URLZone by minors under 18 years of age is not permitted without parental consent.

URLZone provides a suite of link management tools, including but not limited to:

• URL shortening and custom alias creation
• QR code generation and scan tracking
• Real-time click analytics (geography, device, referrer)
• Link expiry dates and password protection
• Custom subdomain management (Business plan)
• REST API access for programmatic link creation

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time, with reasonable notice provided where possible.

Service Limitations

• Availability: We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
• Link quotas: The number of active shortened links is subject to your subscription plan. Limits are detailed on the Pricing page.
• Analytics retention: Click data is retained for 30 days (Free), 12 months (Pro), or indefinitely (Business).
• API rate limits: Programmatic access is subject to per-plan rate limits. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary request throttling.
• Feature availability: Premium features such as custom subdomains and API access require an active paid subscription.
• Content responsibility: We are not responsible for the content of destination URLs. Links that violate these Terms may be removed without prior notice.

To access certain features, you must register for an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or have been inactive for an extended period, with prior notice where applicable.

As a user of URLZone, you accept the following responsibilities:

• Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, and accepting full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring all URLs you shorten comply with applicable laws and do not harm or deceive third parties
• Keeping your registered email address accurate and up to date at all times
• Promptly notifying Soft24 Technologies of any unauthorised access or suspicious activity on your account via support@urlzone.in
• Ensuring your usage remains within the limits of your current subscription plan
• Reviewing these Terms periodically and remaining compliant with the current version
• Responsibly disclosing any security vulnerabilities you discover, without exploiting or publicising them

Acceptable Use — Prohibited Actions

You may use URLZone only for lawful purposes. You agree not to use the service to:

• Shorten URLs that lead to malware, phishing sites, or fraudulent content
• Distribute spam, unsolicited advertising, or bulk messaging
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform
• Use automated tools to generate links in excess of your plan limits
• Impersonate any person, organisation, or entity

URLZone offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (Pro and Business). Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis, as selected at the time of purchase.

• Monthly billing: Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month.
• Annual billing: Your subscription is charged in full at the start of each annual period.
• Taxes: Displayed prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST). Tax amounts will be shown at checkout.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry. Continued failure may result in plan downgrade or suspension.
• Plan upgrades: Upgrades take effect immediately; you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period.
• Plan downgrades: Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Accepted payment methods include major credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), UPI, net banking, and wallets. All transactions are secured with SSL/TLS encryption and are PCI-DSS compliant. We do not store card details on our servers.

Soft24 Technologies offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on all first-time paid subscriptions. Key terms are summarised below — see our dedicated Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full policy including refund mode, processing timelines, and cancellation procedures.

• 7-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied within 7 calendar days of your first paid charge, contact us for a full refund — no questions asked.
• Subsequent billing periods: Renewal charges after the initial 7-day window are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
• Annual plans: Refund requests on annual plans are considered within the first 7 days of the first payment. After 7 days, no refunds are issued for unused annual prepayments.
• Refund mode: All approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
• Free plan: No charges apply to the Free plan; the refund policy does not apply.

Your use of URLZone is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how Soft24 Technologies collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data. By using the service, you consent to the data practices described in that policy.

Link analytics data (click counts, geographic data, device information) collected through your shortened links is owned by you and is available from your account dashboard. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

All content, software, designs, logos, and trademarks associated with URLZone are the exclusive property of Soft24 Technologies and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any content (URLs, aliases, metadata) you create through the service. By using URLZone, you grant Soft24 Technologies a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

URLZone and Soft24 Technologies are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soft24 Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Soft24 Technologies in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your paid plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free plan.

Soft24 Technologies reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of URLZone after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
